Preparing for the big crossing!

I’ve been looking (and hopefully learning) at Predict Wind this morning! I have been downloading weather and inputting data for Sarantium to receive optimum sail routes! Present time, crossing the equator looks a bit tricky with very little wind! Wind should increase though for the end of the month… gettin’ excited!

The last day must be spent with Frida….

…. and what a beautiful neighbourhood she lived in! The Blue House Museum is a must. It was worth the wait! Frida, despite her hard life, made her home into her sanction. Her art collection was diverse, unexpected and full of life. Unfortunately, my phone ran out of juice so I only got a few shots!

Her last painting before she died 4 months later…

Tomorrow, it is time to get back to Sarantium!

I am still waiting for a package from Vela Sailing Supplies in Texas! Apperently it is sitting in a warehouse on the Mexican border. Some say that it may be early signs of the tarif war about to start.

I hope not!

Shopping for “Acero inoxidable” 5/16 x 3/4 machine screws in Mexico City…

… in this little kiosk using charades and drawings of screws. For some reason they thought it was funny and laughed during the whole transaction.

Checking out the quality!
150 Mex Pesos = $7 US

Then we were off to the MUSEO SOUMAYA checking out art collections from all over world! What a building and what great energy!

David never fails to disappoint!
Some of the phones I used not too long ago…

And tonight, I am doing my taxes…
