I am ULRIKA:) and I am the CAPTAIN on SARANTIUM!
I always dreamt of doing something special, knew the ocean was my special and always felt peace away from the hustle and bustle. The dream to sail away, started to take shape a few years ago when I was beginning to say “I want to sail home!” out loud!
I sold my home, my furniture….. my stuff! I pulled anchor and headed south, to take the next 5-10 years to think outside of the ”culture-box” dictating what we do and how we live and think!
There was a strong need to take myself out of the system I was in… the thankless job, paying increasingly high bills, chasing activities and a sense of belonging. That sense of belonging we all crave, in a place where culture keep us in societal boxes not conducive to authentic connections between humans! I wanted to experience the changes that would take place, within me, away from it all! I wanted to think for myself away from society and get on the edge, to see what I’m really capable of. I am done with easy and want work for my personal growth.
