Tide change seems to be bringing million of jellyfish in… it is a bit uncomfortable with all the long strings!

Yet another connection on S/V Tara!
Early morning start, of course coffee first, pumped up the SUP, paddled, watching the million jelly fish, saw a couple of turtles, went for a walk up to one of the summit with Uwe and Adrian… then Yoga!

The dry heat and salty air feels so good for my body! Walking, watching, smelling, listening… good for the soul!

My new home that keeps on keeping me safe!

My Lovely Home!
Isla San Fransisco is absolutely beautiful! The bay is a bit crowded… but I am surviving! HaHa!

My boat…seems so small!

I had a restless sleep! Swell approached us from the south-west swell from a southern wind, and it was a very rolly night! So, why not pull the anchor and see what the Sea of Cortez has to offer this morning! 06.45 we raised the sails and headed into wind onto the beam! So lovely! Within 30 minutes, Sarantium was doing 7 knots… We will for sure get to Isla Pardita BUT the next stop may even be Isla San Fransisco… Stay tuned!

I am a very Happy Sailor!!!

I woke up early this morning Calista Lobos and had coffe with sunrise!

As there were no wind, I decided to pull my wetsuit on and scrape the growth off the hull! Wind kicked in and it is time to pull anchor and leave mainland Baja!

Sarantium made it to the Isla Espiritus Santos for the second time in her life!

Another gorgeous anchor!
Sarantium sailed out of La Paz Harbour for the last time…. And headed for Guaymas to haul out to give S/V Sarantium some love!

Goodbye…

I spent 4 lovely days with friends from Nanaimo! We explored La Paz, drank beer, watched sunsets and did a ton of walking! They arrived to La Paz with their camper van and their motor bike to explore Baja and catch some wind on their kite board on the west coast of Baja.

Nanaimo peeps…

I have also been hunting for a whisker pole … These items are not cheap new so I decided to put the word out here in Baja for a used one. Pacific Thread, a sail loft that refurbished my genoa, responded and I now have what I need to cross over to French Polynesia! I still have to order a track for it to slide up and down the mast on. It cannot lay on the deck.

Another mission accomplished (almost).
